  • I highly recommend making reservations ASAP! Set a reminder on your phone for 1-2 weeks prior or 30 days prior (depending on the restaurant) as reservations go very quickly & wait times can be long.

Montauk is an old fishing village located at the east tip of Long Island. It has become a major tourist destination during summer months, especially in more recent years due to social media. Montauk is known for its beaches, surfing, and restaurant/nightlife scene. Overall, Montauk is considered to be more laidback than other Hamptons towns.

I was luckily enough to get to work an event at Hero Beach Club and stay in Montauk for a weekend in July. I thought it was a charming little beach town with so much character. Between Fort Pond and the beaches we had a view everywhere we went. There are tons of boutiques and restaurants are in abundance giving us plenty to check out.

I highly recommend also checking out Sag Harbor, East Hampton, and Southampton when driving through!
